FAQ - The Debt Collection Registry

As a private individual, you can get an overview of your debt collection cases completely free of charge. In addition, you’ll have access to information from the Debt Registry and a credit check at no cost. You can create a profile here for free.
You can also choose to upgrade to a Pro subscription, which gives you access to additional features, including budgeting and repayment tools. This can help you manage and resolve financial challenges.
The Debt Collection Registry and the Debt Registry—what's the difference?
A few years ago, the Debt Registry was launched, providing you with an overview of unpaid credit card balances, personal loans, and store credit accounts—in other words, all unsecured debt. We want to provide you with a similar overview of your debt collection cases, which also include unpaid electricity bills, phone bills, and similar debts. In addition, you’ll receive information about any credit cards that have been referred to a collection agency.
The name—the Debt Collection Registry—may lead to some misunderstandings. Therefore, we want to clarify that even though the name includes “register,” it is not an actual registry where debt collection agencies report their entire customer base, as is the case with the Debt Registry. They only retrieve information when you ask them to, and you retain ownership of your data.
Can the Debt Collection Registry help me work out a payment plan with the people I owe money to?
The Debt Collection Registry provides you with insight into your debt collection cases and other debts, based on information it obtains from various creditors. If you have questions about a debt collection case or disagree with something, you must contact the debt collection agency directly for clarification.
You can also choose to sign up for a Pro subscription, which gives you access to several useful features, such as budgeting and repayment tools. This can be a great help in resolving your financial challenges.
To access the Pro subscription, you pay only 1,999 kr through our discount (regular price: 2,499 kr) for a 3-month period. This is the time they typically estimate it will take to reach a solution with your creditors. During this period, you’ll have access to all features. After 3 months, the subscription ends automatically, but if you’d like to continue following the payment plan, you can sign up for a “Pro Subscription – Payment Plan” for just 79 kr per month.
